Federal Voluntary Service & Voluntary Cultural Year

Are you interested in an exciting year at Bremen City University of Applied Sciences?

Every year, the HSB awards a position to a young person who would like to complete a Federal Voluntary Service (Bundesfreiwilligendienst, BFD) or a Voluntary Cultural Year (Freiwilliges Kulturelles Jahr, FKJ)! We are looking for a committed, open-minded and energetic staff member to support the university’s International office.

The tasks involved are diverse: they range from co-designing the introductory week for exchange students from all over the world to organising events and projects. Administrative management of all this will also be part of the job at the international office.

        you can work independently, but also feel comfortable working in a team
you are open, curious and tolerant towards other people and cultures
communicating in English is no problem for you
you enjoy being creative and contributing your ideas
you are familiar with basic PC programmes
you can accept and express constructive criticism
