Differences enrich our lives together. When different people and perspectives enter into dialogue, we all benefit. That is why the HSB sees diversity as an opportunity and stands for the values of a humane, liberal, just and democratic society.

As an educational and research institution, the HSB is a place where people from different academic disciplines, cultures and countries of origin bring their individual interests and characteristics together to learn with and from each other. External audits regularly prove that our measures are successful. For example, the HSB was certified by the ‘Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft’ as part of the audit “Vielfalt gestalten” (‘Designing Diversity’).

We also give sustainability a high priority for us in all areas.

Insights into University Life
